EWS has let 36 Museum Street in Ipswich to Westminister
Drug Project (WDP). Westminister Drug Project is a charity
providing drug and alcohol services in London and the
south-east of England. Its aim is to provide the best
advice, support and treatment to those affected by drug
and alcohol use including families and communities.
WDP Suffolk supports people who are going through the
criminal justice system to recover from drug and alcohol
dependency. The team works closely with the police,
courts, prison and probation services. Paul Simmons,
Project Manager at WDP Suffolk said: "we are delighted
with our new premises in Ipswich. The convenient location
allows us to continue providing support for people who
come through the criminal justice system and are experiencing
problems with drugs and / or alcohol.
Clare Wright of EWS said: "West Minister Drug
Project plays a vital role in the community, and 36
Museum Street provides an ideal location for the team,
being close to Ipswich Magistrates Court and Ipswich
Police Station".
